Index Puncture Test (Ball Bursting Strength of Textiles):-
The geotextile specimen is clamped to obtain an
inside diameter of 44.45 mm and force is applied through steel ball having
25 mm diameter at the rate of 305 mm/min and continue at that speed until
the specimen bursts. Record to the nearest 0.5 N the ball-bursting strength
of the specimen.
